As mentioned earlier, this disorder occurs because the victims are repeatedly exposed to extremely frightening situations. Often times, the victims are not even aware of their environment because they are not fully cognizant of what they are experiencing, which causes the trauma to escalate and become much worse.

CPTSD can manifest itself in many ways. The victim may experience flashbacks, nightmares, and constant worrying about the next assault. If a person suffers from complex PTSD, they may also suffer from nightmares where they relive the assault over again, such as an episode of nightmares where they are at home with their children when a stranger comes to their home and attacks them.

In some cases, the person suffering from CPTSD may find themselves avoiding close family members and friends. The victim may become obsessed with being able to protect themselves from future attacks, and may become obsessed with guns, knives, or other dangerous objects. Other people who may suffer from Complex PTSD may have problems concentrating, have hallucinations, or even feel like they are going crazy.

CPTSD can cause extreme avoidance behavior by the victims. They will avoid being around the same person or places, or people that they were traumatized. exposed to the trauma.

Because this disorder is often brought on by extreme fear of death, it can significantly affect a people’s ability to function in their daily lives. They can suffer from short term memory loss, have trouble organizing their thoughts, and be in constant worry about the next time they will be hurt.

They may be afraid of running into a situation that they know nothing about, may find it impossible to leave their house and even develop phobias. Because they don’t know what the future holds, it can be very difficult for people with CPTSD to live normal and peaceful lives.

It has been found that people with CPTSD have trouble forming relationships with other people, due to having the inability to express their feelings and emotions, because of fear of being hurt by another person.

People with this condition may also develop depression. Because they have developed the inability to feel any emotion, they may find it extremely hard to feel joy, be sad, or smile, because they feel their entire life is pointless.

Because the symptoms of this disorder can be so intense, it can have very devastating effects on the sufferer. They may have no real way of getting help for themselves because they don’t know how to tell anyone. they have this condition.

Traumatic stress can have a very strong and devastating effect on a person’s life and it is important to seek treatment immediately. There are many different types of therapy and support groups available to help those who have been victims of abuse or those who have been victims of sexual trauma.
